£20K Mid Life Crisis Car

This came up in a conversation with friends over the festive period. One of them has always wanted a TVR and is now in a position to go and buy one except developments at TVR have left him unsure and also the car needs to have 4 seats (not 2+2).

......and so the conversation went - what 4-seat mid life crisis car could he get for £20K? Any suggestions? A B6 S4 was deemed too sensible....

Not a bad suggestion, but more of a 2+2.

Possibly even more controversial, but what about the last M3 if the B6 S4 is too sensible. If in doubt, the Top Gear comparision of the two cars:
