Petrol prices . . .

Everyone, I don't know what your thoughts are but I'm getting a bit sick of the creeping up of petrol prices! I'm sure once prices got to £1.05 pl last time people were blocking oil stations weren't they? Everyone seems to be taking it on the chin this time!

You're right. I believe oil is about $72 a barrel at the moment. The last time we were all moaning about the price of fuel at around £1.05 a litre, oil reached around $120 (for sake of argument) a barrel. Someone is making lots of money somewhere along the line by not reducing prices in line with the price of oil. It could be the oil companies; it could be the garage owners.
It is irritating to think that petrol prices are so influenced by the media now. As usual, the price of petrol never seems to be reduced as quickly as the price is increased!
