OK mate of mine in Quatar working for police ATM sends me this
We were driving out of the police training institute one morning when I looked left and went nuts. Parked inside the perimiter wall was three Lamborghini's, two Ferrari's two Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe's, and a Mercedes 500 McLaren. Enquiries were immediately made and we were advised that they were new deliveries for the big man himself. They certainly looked that new. Next day the quota was added to by another Lambo, three Carrerra's two more Ferraris, a BMW 6 series sport, a Porsche Cayenne custom made job and a Bentley. Just over £4 million quids worth of cars. By now my enquiries were in serious high gear. The fact is that the cars are all owned by Qatari nationals living in Europe and all had been driven irresponsibly, so, the Emir being the top geezer, confiscates the lot and has them impounded back home in the police training centre! How long will they be there I hear you ask? Oh! about four months, by which time the tyres will have rotted, the leather inside will have been baked to a crisp having been exposed to constant temperatures well over 100 degrees, and God only knows what the engines will be like. Now, I can almost hear you protesting but yes I have tried everying in my power to get the keys, just to give the poor little buggers a spot of exercise up and down the Emirates Highway but no joy I am afraid. To quote one senior officer here "They will probably rot there, the people who own them have so much money they will just go out and buy another one and forget about them"
