MOT checks

my wife's car is due its MOT this month. She has a small hole (thumb sized) in one of the rear light lenses. All the lights work perfectly but will the broken lens cause MOT failure? Anyone help?

I believe this issue is showing white light from the bulb. If you cover the hole with red cellophane I think that is a pass.

found a cheap lens on ebay so replaced it anyway...
