Palmersport

Was up at Bedford Autodrome yesterday doing the stocktake attendance for their year end and was really impressed with the place.

The workshop was great fun looking at all the FPA cars, Clio Cups, Jag XKRs and JP1s.

At the end of it, they went off and found their Chief Instructor who took me round the East circuit in their Leon FR Course Car. He is Nuts!!!! I loved every second. Handbraking on entry was good fun - he got the thing sideways and back again before I could work out what he was doing. He just said on a FWD car, turn in and floor it. Simply an awesome experience!

The place looks good too, plenty of run off. Its a pity as they're contracted to build the new F2 cars for next year in conjunction with Williams designing the chassis - they were hoping to have some of the new tubs in by now but none had turned up.

The Leon is a bloody nice car too - took a real pasting with no moaning. Not a hint of the old spanish build quality or materials in it nowadays too.

Just had to tell someone. Thats rubbish really, I've told everyone who I thought would care lol

Bedford Autodrome is good. Should try the Gran Turismo circuit when you get the chance to there.
RS6 (MRC'd with econodrive) is not just for Xmas
Toyota Aygo Platinum for minimising carbon footprint.
