Black Number Plates

Does anyone have Black number plates on their cars.(The old fashioned style with silver/white lettering) I was thinking of putting these on the front/back of my Black RS. I think it will give the car an even more aggressive look...

Real question should be, I think that they are not the legal preferred way compared to the standard Yellow/White background plates, so if anyone does have them, have you been pulled over by the law much as a result? Is it a points on license offence?

I think they are still illegal, but nickwigan has them now and has had traffic police behind him who have left him alone...

I think they can only pull you over and advise you to change them - if they see you again and you haven't... well... you're asking for them...

How about the front only? They are unlikely to see them and turn around to stop you?!?!?

Don't be so sure, especially as they go past you and see a "normal" plate on the rear - they'll assume you have motives for only changing the front and pull you for that alone!
