I have just taken out an annual policy on the RS6. Anyone used these before? Have heard mixed rumours, very good and quick to pay and on the flip side, slow to respond....

Looked today, and nearly bought 2 years for £1200. I need to make a decision, which includes not bothering with one at all.
V, Confused by it all really, and looking to see what others are doing.

I'm edging towards not bothering at all. MRC does some darn decent rates and better know how than anyone I know. Def replacing DRC for the Bilstein and hogkiss ARBs when they fail and prob throw in the gutted precats too.

Warranty wise wanted £750.00 for the super dooper warranty that covers everything, main deler rates, even cats and lost keys. It also covers claims upto 10k with no limit on claims.
I think I will give them a go, personally I think they are all <beep> but you have to cover yourself I suppose.
Also I have £350.00 from a previous warranty with them and I will lose that if I dont renew because they wont refund

Tried Camberly Audi to see if they had their own group warranty, as they have a great reputation for the RS6. They don't have one, but quoted me for the "standard" Audi warranty:
12 months.
NAMED component only
No roadside
MPC required first at £160
Wait for it.
£2,739.00
Mac. Before you sign to Warrantywise, I got them from £725 to £650 or £1259 for 2 years including tyres. I think I may do this. They don't do an inspection, Warranty Direct want to come and have a snoop around, which I guess offers them an opportunity to say lots of things are potential non payouts?
Something I've always wanted to know and never wanted to ask a warranty company:
Let's say my car is outside and the gearbox is on the floor. £1000's to fix, but what's to stop you buying a £650 warranty, waiting a couple of weeks and then claiming?

Jail for fraud
I wouldn't be suprised if there is something in the car that is logged to say the last time it was used etc.

Bob,
They have me by the balls at the minute. They have £350.00 from an old policy which they said they were would knock off the new one. They are also going to freeze it until January when my garage one runs out so cant complain really.
So I only have to pay £400.00 for a 12 month policy which seems good i suppose. I had a lengthy conversation with the guy there called Kev and warrantywise recognise the gearbox failures on the rs6's it a well documented fault on his system he said.
