Hi
Just a thought, but I pay extra in my car insurance for glass cover (think the excess is £50) and wondered if they use OEM glass or an equivilant?
Anyone know?

My guess would be equivalent (Autoglass branded or the like).david7m wrote:Hi

You could opt to have it replaced by a dealer, but usually in those instances the insurance companies would limit the amount they would put towards the OEM glass (typically ~£150) even with you paying the excess.
Your policy book should state what they will cover.
