A B8 RS4 powered by a 470hp TT V8 versus a RS5 powered by a 500hp V10....

Similarly priced, I'd go for the RS5.

But then again with a couple of turbos tagged onto it, what would the tuning potential of the TT V8 be?

1.2 x stock power and you'd be looking at ~560hp....

Anyone with the inside track?

That said, it'll be criminal if they do not offer both cars with a manual gearbox.

Tyresmoke reporting the B8 RS4 will have either a SC'ed V6 making ~400hp or a NA V8 making ~450hp.

Got a free issue of Car in the post today.

Claims the RS5 will have a V8 4.2 TT engine, but if it looks anything like the pictures...I want one!!
