Problems finding 97 ron

Post by victor2vt » Sat Jun 21, 2008 4:31 pm

Arrived on empty at usual Shell garage, no 97 available, luckily found some BP.

Attendant said they were concentrating on getting the normal unleaded

and diesel tanks full around the UK, which is going to take about a week,

before delivering 97 ron again.

This is NE England, anyone else expeienced this yet ?

Plenty of V Power around in the NE and to be honest, with the driving I am doing at present, the extra cost is producing better fuel economy so balances the additional price.

Same in NW last week - I had difficulty finding ANY high octane fuel (V-Power, Tesco 99, Texaco 97)

OK now though
