In this week's Autocar. Extra 60bhp, so should be running 530, carbon fibre panels to reduce weight by 150kg, 0-60 in 3.3sec.
Apparently it's been seen at the Nurburgring and is said to have lapped in 7min 25sec (current production car record is the Zonda F Clubsport @ 7min 27sec). IIRC the standard GT-R is 7min 38secs.
If approved by Nissan, we won't get to see it until 2011 as they are in no rush considering the demand for the standard GT-R....Nissan GB took 700 deposits within two days of opening its order books.

The normal GTR was good enough, and now this comes along, and then I'm sure a few years down the line there'll be some more special edition models and Nismo variants!

I hear that 68 of them off the production line have been crashed already, completely written off. If this is true, we are dealing with a serious monster of a car. Nissan have gone straight for the jugular vein of Porsche, Ferrari, Buggati etc. Nissan are not playing around with this car, its just a unrestricted beast waiting to be unleashed.

Not important. It spanks a 911t and is 1/2 the price. Whether it's a Nissan or not, it laps the ring in 7.38. Badge means nothing if you're into the performance and capabilities of this car

Hit the nail on the head.
IMO thats narrow minded thinking!
Hopefully that's what will keep this car exclusive, and not like the normal Porsche/M3. Hopefully people will buy it for what it is, and not because its the newest/fastest thing in town!
Wait for the Spec-V, that will be even quicker, and will challenge the GT2 direct!

That car have the caracteristics of the S4/RS4 B5....quattro, V6, twin turbos, 2 side intercoolers.......Can't be a bad car, the last skyline was i have to admit ugly and the interior was s.it BUT they were bullet proof and could take some big mods !! The new one is absolutly smashing inside out, you have a lot for your money, and yes it is a Nissan badge so what !!
My RS4 is fast, still look good BUT it is just an estate and it isn't perfect
