Does anyone know what the fastest 1/4 mile time is for Audi S4 / RS4 (B5 model) in the UK. Been told that it is 12.3 seconds..

I think Lucas got a 12.3 at GTI Int. last year. Apparently with Michelin Cup tyres and in the wet and a dodgy 1st to 2nd change.

If 12.3 is the fastest rescorded time, I epxect it could be broken by existing cars if they ran on the right day.

not likely 12.3! i would of thought early 11's late 10's possibly until project satan has a go

I did 12.48 at the pod last May & Leon did 12.43 ? on the same day. I think a B5 car will go much faster than 12.3, I reckon I should have been 12.2 if I'd got it right, but I'm a bit crap at it

Edit: My S4 is around 420bhp.

Yes, am sure that a 500bhp S4 with get into the 11's now..

There are a few 600+HP cars out there with far more capable drivers than me willing to destroy clutches(Eg you brett ) so I am sure there must be some 11's out there??

When is Doug going to take his car down the strip???

i'll let someone else drive mine as i cannot get quick changes for 1/4s. i can get lots of wheelspin nad banging on hte rev limiter. 500bhp cars should be mid 11s.

How is it done then?? Who can launch our cars... I think we need a formal training sesh @ RS246 Live!

There will be instructors @ 'Live' but they will be for track tuition, not drag racing.

I wouldn't mind seeing David have a go in a 500+ car. I still think 12.48 with 420 is a great time
