(power x 5252)/ revs = torque

the rev is that limit of revs ie 300x5252/7200=218 is that right??

That's for torque measured in Nm isn't it? Or is it lbf.ft ... ?

rev's is the point at which you are making max power which will be toward the redline unless u r on k03's lol
in lbft

This is good stuff - I've just stacked up the formula against my last RR results; works well, the maths is almost a perfect match for the power and torque curves as plotted against RPM.
Incidentally it shows my power and torque tail off quite steeply beyond 5,500rpm .... I think that must be my optimal point in the rev range to change up a gear .... (but the cooling/air supply was pretty pants on the RR for that session and the car was suffering major heatsoak, so maybe on the "real road" it could be further up the rev range .... maybe 6,000rpm??)

so if i was to say 300x5252/4800(full boost)=328 right?

My stats are in my sig, so think the resulting value is a ft/lbs?

Yeah - definitely lbf.ft

Yes - if you're making 300hp at 4800rpm. Have you got a dyno plot?

482nm=355 lbf.ft not bad
