I have to admit it ...badge or not that is one helluva motor
What kind brass will get you one of them
I've been looking at BMW 335d

as a viable alternative to both my cars (old merc and old S4), but I keep coming round and thinking 30k is a lot fer a motor!

30k is..but with a re-map it put out a shed load of torque and is quicker than most ferrari's and porsche's up to about 100mph i think..
twin turbo diesel..mile muncher..

Carbon Black looks fantastic, shows up some bizarre colours under different lighting.
Reckon they must be around £40K or so now?

A quick shufty on Pistonheads says anything from about 40k upwards....
I like that metallic red one!... Different!

Not sure about the wood trim though!

Dudes! This is NOT a nice looking car ... great though it may be in many ways with a touch of the M-sport button ... but it's still a horrible design. No eye candy. (IMO of course)

Blame Chris Bangle for the love it/hate it design.

Hoo da hell iz Chris Bangle?
The wheels are rank, and the exhausts look like a last-minute afterthought.

I think its OK looking, but the inside looks a bit weird.. The older BM's had a better interior and dashboard (IMO !)
How you view car prices is quite bizarre isn't it?
I thought 7k was dear for my S4 and this week I was looking at 30+K motors.....
Its like anything out there there is always something just that bit more.....

Chris Bangle designed a lot of the current BMW's, I think he started with the Z4 and steadily ruined everything else BMW created thereafter . . .

The last vaguely aesthetically pleasing BM produced was the 6 series, especially the M6. The new stuff is bereft of eye-appeal. Loathed though I am to say it - but I'd rather have an E39 M5 than this new one (cue s4wobbly)

Susanna Hoffs .... now that is a nice 'Bangle' design
Still looks as fit as a very fit bird now... 22 years after she 'Walked Like an Egyptian'
Wahey
Z4 looks as American as it is!
