The specs ARE different, in some cases very much so. The performance isn't always the same either.
There are State and Federal taxes to be paid and also "gas guzzler" taxes on some of these cars.
Don't be fooled, I have brought back many cars now from the USA and until you sit and add the taxes etc, etc it looks great, but in reality, it just aint that different.

Still a Nissan 350Z at 13k seems cheap... Even the 'top knobbly' one as only about 16k!
I don't think importing them is a good idea... blooming septics have the wheel on the wrong side anyway!

Ironically, we in Britain make how many cars? Even worse how many sports cars?
So in reality the countries who do make them have the steering on the other side, so I would hazzard a guess that the SEPTICS as you call them may have a better clue on whats right more so than us LIMEYS.
And who wants a f11cking NISSAN anyway?
