Is their differences between both brands that would translate into real world driving differences ?? ie. BHP, fuel economy, additives to protect engine ? etc...

Absolutely .... Vpower98 has been proven to give a few extra horse,s 5th gear did a show on it....ATM im using Shell Vpower racing 100octane, not all shell garages sell it, but i have 2 close to me.

In the UK BP Ultimate is 97 RON and Shell V Power 99 RON.
