How the hell did the driver do that? Takes some going that does, no skid marks and a hell of a mess.

Bloody lucky they drive on the same side of the road as us...if it was a left-hooker he wouldn't have gone to hospital!

Wow. What a refreshing change - all the forum members saying "shame, it was a nice car" about a BMW. There are Audi owners out there who appreciate other marques! Some interesting comments and stuff I didn't know about, like Australia restricting power to weight ratio for new drivers. My landlord has never needed to drive before, and so is only just starting to learn - he's been lusting after .. well, powerful German cars (his opinion seems to be subtly similar to mine, down to phrases he uses to describe certain cars), and I've been trying to restrict his choices to sensible power-to-weight ratios for a new driver, for his first car...

Just goes to show what all that oversteer showboating on the track by plato, needell et al leads to when carried out by civvies on roads without 500 yards of kitty litter run off.

...the kid that did this to the Beemer simply run out of what little talent he had. Just so lucky it was only street furniture that was harmed and not innocent pedestrians.

Look at the chunk taken out of the rear driver's side wheel, in the last photo. That's when it all went wrong...

Imagine the grief / ear bashing we would be hearing if that was an RS!
