It seems that in the south especially in surrey none of my local stations have v-power I have tried 5, not only that but none of them even know when they are getting any! they are blaming it on panic buying as a result of the fuel duty increase.

So I will have to resort to filling with 95 and using an octane booster as i am driving up to letchworth tommorrow. can anyone tell me what brand is best where to buy and how to use it

Thanks in advance

No Tescos 99?

No normal 97ron super anywhere?

Any super better than 95 I would have thought.

Hope you didn't see the 5trh Gear test on octane boosters. All very scientific and they all gave a performance decrease!

went to tescos as well all sold out too!!

BP 97 good point will look out for a BP ( does it perform as well as 99)

Re octane boosters - that is shocking were the tests on cars mapped to run on higher octane fuels?
