Laser Jammers, article in Times 31/08/07

Was travelled to Durham yesterday on the train and was reading an article about a chap who was banned for "perverting the course of justice". This came about by him jamming the signal from a laser handheld speed detector.

Got a huge fine and banned for 12months, he did have 9 points though to start with.

Beggs the question, who's next as I know at least 1/2 dozen of us have them!

Watch out.

Always been to wary - it's not like you have much of an excuse for having them fitted. That's where the Laser Park Pro comes in - a legitimate parking sensor that happens to be one of the best jammers on the market! Tempting!

I cant justify the expense of it at both ends and wondered how I would argue I needed a parking aid at the front of the car but not at the rear.

how I would argue I needed a parking aid at the front of the car
Because you don't want the underside of your spoiler to scrape over low kerbs?

Most premuim vehicles have front parking sensors these days as an option.
