doh, found a flaw in the audi!!!1

Cop on opposite site of slip road facing me, another 1 mile down the road pulled me in, basically court summons :wall:

What’s the good site for info, need to try at least and get out of it?

Any other advice on getting out of it?

Got to produce my documents and wait for the summons I suppose?

Likely out come????

If you have some idea about what was done when you were stopped, what was said, what equipment they used to measure your speed etc they might be able to offer some advice.

It has to be a court appearance now though and I can't imagine you not getting prosocuted. Take all the advice you can get, but in reality better start planning for a ban I reckon.

As Graham says, check out pepipoo.com and do the research. You might get away with a few points but a ban is a possibility.

Now where were the boys in blue when i had a :knob: on the phone inches from the back bumper at 70 mph in traffic today,,,, Wish i'd been in the van, i would have "tested" the brakes.

Might be a case for contacting Mr Loophole...Nick Freeman. http://www.freemankeepondriving.co.uk.

Mr partners boss was caught at 105 on the A2 some years back and with a decent lawyer and some letetrs from his employers he "got off" with a £ 500 fine and 6 points. His lawyer cost him £ 750. He needed his licence for his work and this was brought out in Court as being under pressure to make appointments etc.

Hope that helps, and hope you manage to keep your licence.

Paul

I was caught doing over 115mph, they could not get a precise reading above that. I got 6 points and £1500 fine but I got a letter saying that I did voluntary work etc and it would have to stop if I were banned. Get a good solicitor, Mr Freeman is the way to go and I did not use him but if I were caught again, I would.

also ask to see the calibration certificate for the equipment that was used to catch/record that speed..if its not up to date then there kinda buggered..
but im sure you was only doing that sort of speed cos you was bein chased by a much bigger guy that threatened your life at a roundabout a few miles back...so you just had to get away cos you was fearful of him...

Gutted for you!!! Good Luck.

I felt a bit self-concious on the motorways at the weekend, trip to devon and back with a bright blue white water canoe on my roof bars made me stick out a bit in comparison to the other cars on the road! Thankfully journeys completed safe and sound.

4 points and £200 fine for 115mph
6 points, £460 fine
Is this indicative of a lightened approach to "high end" speeding? I got £ 60 + 3 pts for 98mph. (average over 2 miles, f**k knows what would have happened had he caught me before).

I got a lawyer to plead that I needed my license and that I was on important work deliverying critical servers for the Scottish Ambulance service.
