Security could be a concern with quick release turbos!

dnt think lag is a concern..its on an M5 V10..they come in standard at 507bhp..
as for security..who,s gonna no that the turbs are there...and lets be honest if sum1 goes to the trouble of stealing them or the car then there welcome to it..

i dnt think theres many speed humps in cally..a very interesting car indeed..wonder if you could do that to an audi..big turbo,s under the car mite make big power..wonder if heat soak is a problem with the air cooling them dwn as you drive along..

I just wonder about the lag, it must have 3 times the pipework of an 'ordinary' turbo car.

well there was that audi with the turbo's sticking out through the bonnet, thats probably more practical for our land of hills. i'd be worried about them getting wet or knocking on stuff. america sure comes out with some special custom cars

I think the answer to that is yes because I know of S4's with big FMIC's and pipework that have too much lag.
