Yesterday driving home from work I'm following a car that is following a bus.

The bus stops to drop off and pick up, the car behind the bus also stops. I sit there, get bored then decide the road is clear ahead so indicate and pull out to pass them both. As I am along side the car they pull to the right to pass the bus without indicating. I continue past them.

For the next half mile they are behind me flashing their lights and beeping the horn.

I would say I did nothing wrong, but I guess they didn't think so.

perfectly fair, they jealous they did not think of it first.

To be fair to them I got bored in about a nano second but still I indicated to make the move, they didn't and obviously were pissed off because they didn't check to thier rear side before moving out

Done similar things in the past, why on earth they would flash and beep I dont know? You didnt have your fog lights on did you? I get flashed all the time if I have my rear fog light on.

Nope, it was sunny

Mark not saying you did anything wrong here however I don’t need to tell you that overtaking buses like that can be seriously dodgy, as people get off and stupidly walk round the front of the bus to cross the road.

Maybe they thought you were a little impatient?

Done the same myself though being prepared for an impending lemming...

in brum they would of flashed you if you hadn't made a move, you indicated so no problem.

Single/small minded people, they do get a bit wound up. Not as if you took a dump in their front room is it ?

it's not like they indicated and you baulked them on purpose.

I've got 2 rear fog lights ... so there!

I think i would of stopped and asked them what there problem was.Alternatively pulled over let tham pass then followed them flashing my lights and bibbing untill they got home then waited for them to leave the next day and follow them again and i would of continued this for a month then took a dump in their front room

Sorry got carried away forgot to say, you indicated and maneouvred as it says in the book, no law against overtaking buses or cars behind buses its a case of Johnny Jobsworth and his missus out for a drive, dont do what i said you will probably be arrested
