question about folding mirrors

Hello could some body confirm if the inside chasis on the mirrors fits in both type bases for left hand drive cars and right hand drive cars? or its difference? the piece i talk about is the one which have the folding motor and the glass motor if it come from right hand drive side and i wanna install it on a base from left hand drive side , any body can confirm this please? any help will be appreciated!
