Don't use the car much

Came across this and thought it was a good idea for those that have a 2nd car that comes out every so often.

When it does come out there should be no messing with chargers ;)

Nice idea unless the car is parked in a garage

ah ha! ! :D

Cable is 2.7 m long! !

You could put it in the garage window or fix it on the outside and run it to the car.

Or plug the car into the trickle charger in the garage. ;)

It looks a good idea and I often thought about getting one for my TVR that would drain the battery in 3 days when left standing. I went with the trickle charger...

lol, forgot about a charger :D

Ok, if it's in a garage with "Mains" power then use a charger.

If it's in a garage with no power or outside then go with the solar charger.

:D

Is the cigarette lighter "live" when the ignition is switched off? Cos if it's a switched circuit then it ain't gonna work.

Audi use those on new cars so they must work. They come up on ebay occasionally.

Never used mine so I wouldn't know...hence the question. Seems to be a reasonable solution for when the car is parked at airports....it's always flat when I come back! Might get one myself.
