Has anyone had a Q7 yet, or had a decent drive in one?
I am thinking of getting as the family car, as we seem to be quickly out growing the RS4.

You won't have any trouble with growing out of the Q7 as they are truly hhhhhuuuuuuggggggeeeeee. Don't know if its a trick of the eye but they look far bigger than the VW/BMW/Porsche/Volvo equivalent... More like Rangey territory. In fact, you could probably get a RR for the same money, the interior of the RR is far superior to the Audi, but the Q7 would probably be more reliable.

Old man has a RR and I have a Q7. Q7 not as high but longer. Build quality Exceptional on the Q7, so-so on the RR. Having said that I'm getting out of mine into a RR as I dont need 7 seats!

Your Q7 looks like an S line?
It's the seven seats that we are after, which gives us a limited selection of cars.
The Audi seems to be the best of whats on offer in all respects, most impressed with the ride quality which does not feel like an SUV at all,

Its an S Line with a few bits and pieces on top. Drives like a car; not like a ship as in the RR. Its VERY long though!! Air suspension on it is great - though if u can fathom out the difference between Dynamic, Automatic and comfort settings ur a better man than me...

Brilliant quote. Both are very desirable vehicles but for different perceptions. RR for its sheer luxury, Q7 for its all-round quality of ride, engines and build.
Photo's look great, are those tints legal at the front

Yes, I have driven the Q7. Very nice and the handling is excellent, so much better than you would expect. However they really need to do an S7 or RS7 to make it worth having...

Bobjebb have you tried the porsche cayenne s or turbo model both drive like a dream although I would never advise someone to get 4 x 4 unless required
