I live in Milton Keynes, which is approx. 20 miles from Bedford! I would be prepared to help transport to a ferry port if everything was legit, ie the insurance and car paid for!

A friend of mine bought an Evo 2 a few years back from one of the "specialists" and it was the biggest pile of <beep> on the road.
There wasn't a single thing that didn't break, from the engine, gearbox to the body and chassis.
I'd be VERY careful buying such a car without a very comprehensive report!

One of the biggest issues with these cars is that the shell can crack if driven hard. You have to open doors and pull down the rubber where the A-pillar meets the roof to see if cracks are visible, same at the rear door aperture. Also, rock steering whilst placing palm of hand where the A-pillar meets the front wing and feel for movement. In brief, they're pretty flimsy and really need a roll cage to firm them up. Awesome cars when they're working.
