Caught the last 20 mins of the programme and wish I hadn't. You can tell they're trying to compete with TopGear, but falling a long way short.

All a bit pony...

Most new cars have six gears these days, shows how far behind they are

Terrible. As soon as I saw a plane going to race a car around a track for the billionth meaningless time...
RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

Didn't see it but it still has to be better than Sky Ones's Vroom Vroom. Now that is poor!

I like Clarkson and Co and I like the Top Gear show, for entertainment, but part of me wants a more factual show, like the old TG, where they lifted the bonnet and actually told you about the car, not just hammer it around a track and do burn outs!

Why do they just show re runs of the last series on UKTV? I'd love to see some golden oldie Top Gear shows. If I am going to watch a repeat, I think an old show would be far entertaining. Watching the reaction of the presenters at the time to the B5 S4 or RS4 would be interesting.

They showed some promising signs last series, but last night was just painful to watch.

Here's wishing Hammond a very speedy recovery so we can get Top Gear back on the air..

Yes OMG. The last series was getting good and the trailer for this one was looking good but that was an hour of my life waisted last night.

I have to disagree with Graham Vroom Vroom was better which just shows how bad 5th Gear was!

Come on Hammond, get better soon. Please!!!!!!

Well if Vroom Vroom was better, then I doubt I would have seen the Fifth Gear episode through. I'll cancel that mental note to add it to my Sky+ planner!

VBH is an ugly duckling who is way past-it to grow into a swan.
The show is diabolical, the first groan came when they announced their new home (Ace cafe).
I watched Tiffany, but when the plane appeared I switched off, how sad and desperate.
