You'd need to find out if there is a B7 with eletric folding mirrors, and if they'll fit your car (Better if it's from a Cab, obviously). Pretty sure the Audi alarm won't have the required to fold them, so will probably need to put a Clifford alarm on too. I'd imagine the total cost to be £100 to £150 for the folding mirror bases, and about £400 for the alarm.

Phil mine has electric folding mirrors but just can not seem to set it, In the manual there is a mention of set up with memory seats but still can not get working that way either.

Usually the mirrors can be folded by rotating the adjustment knob through 180%.

Phil they work fine with rotating knob but wanted to know if to work with remote control. ie Lock car mirrors close, unlock car mirros open.

we did a mod on a Mitsubishi GTO to achieve the same thing, took an output from both the lock and unlock pulses from the alarm to the central locking and just wired them straight into the switch for the mirrors, piece of cake, i think we looked at putting a timer in there too but fortunately there was enough of a pulse to get the mirrors fully folded without needing to extend the pulse time. lock the car, mirrors fold, unlock, mirrors unfold.
