Hi guys,
Have a failed rear fog light and want to replace it but cant really see how to get at it. Take it that you take off the inner boot lid lining, but cant see how to do that either and dont want to pull it too much in case I rip it.
Any help appreciated. Thanks

Problem solved. There is only one working Fog light on a S6. They dont wire up the other one.. go figure !

Audi have only equipped one rear fog light for as long as I can remember - I think the idea is that if there's only one, it's much less likely to get confused with brake lights.
However, on the C5 range, in particular, the fog lights are so far inboard that I can't see a problem with both being operative.

My 1998 S4 has two fog lights that both work. One in each cluster. The wiring is there but the circuit board needs a little bit taken out in order for the bulb to be inserted.

Similar on my 96 A4 Avant. Everything was wired up, so I just inserted a bulb - it was than that I found that the bulb holder wouldn't go back in the lamp housing. I had to remove a small blanking piece from the lamp housing.
