quattro and wheel combinations!

just need to clear somthing.

i'm after an s4 and like most their permanent 4wd so need to know what if any tolerences are allowable on tyre size difference.

i would like to kit the car out with some nice euro look alloys.


rear 9.5x17"
front 8.5 x17"

the nearest tyre sizes to match rolling circumference are as follows:

rear 245/35/17
front 215/40/17

diameter difference is 0.17% actual 1mm total.

so my question is, would this cause stress on the diffs etc.
