I've been running mine on Tesco 99 ron for about two months - seems as good as Optimax. I'm paying 93p /litre in West Sussex.
No idea when it's coming your way!

I filled up with tesco 99 at Winchester(Winnal) this week, 92.9p. Regular BP/Shell etc is about 90-92p in the same area. Will be interesting to see if the MPG is any better, cant say Ive really noticed any performance differances, but my cars only been running properly for a week, so still getting used to it!

Has anyone used the 97 RON from Tesco?
Bob, I've tried this in my RS4 and it appears to be pretty much the same as all the other super unleadeds. Now I prefer to use it with a dose of Millers Octane booster on the basis that this should be home made Optimax and that appears to work even better
