The cost of oil?

Who charges the most for oil?

Just had Clare's Merc in for a service they supplied 6.5 litres of best quality Shell Helix 5w 40 oil at ------ wait for it--------- £11.00 + Vat per litre

Total cost £84.02

I had the oil changed in the E55, with a filter, total cost................£182.30 inc vat. Labour was £35.00 and the filter was £8.90, the rest was made up with 7.7 ltrs of Catrol Magnetec..........the service dept did warn me to supply my own oil, wish I had listened..... Shell Helix Ultra 4lt = £30.99 from the motorway services... I get oil for free on my Fuel Card ;)

its like 8 USD a liter here for Mopile 1 Syn,and 2.2 USD for non Syn.
and the Labour for free :biggrin3:

particularly as AMG recommend that their cars are filled with Mobil 1 not Castrol Magnatec.
