not really that quick on the track. Latest German sport auto did it's Supertest with M5. It was quick, 0-100 km/h 4.5, 0-160 9.2s, 0-200 13.8

On Nordschleife the time was 8.13, on Hockenheim 1.16.5 -latter 1.5 slower than MTM stage3 RS4, or about same as stock 380 hp RS4 with sport brakes and GmbH suspension, and Rossos. IDrive comfort setting was quicker than sport on track, so much for the buttons you play with.

Top speed was 269 km/h limited, interestingly not limited to 250.

Anyways, quick it is, but not so overtly quick that a tuned RS4 couldn't hang with it, or even show the taillights. Really I expected a time close to 8 minutes on the Ring, disappointed. Still a mighty car.

Numbers can be seen here: Trackchallenge.com E60 vs stock RS4

hi jani
look at track temperature , time of year combination overall adds up to grip tyre temperatures getting the power down maintaining stability i reckon this car will take it under 8 mins if they run it again in warmer conditions 20 degrees difference in tarmac temperature
cheers steve

Overheating the tyres was an issue, tyres are trashed due to high weight & power, so higher track temperature might not help. They mentioned PS2's would make it quicker though.
