One of the original owners who hosted rs4.org for while was an ex Lotus Carlton owner, haven't seen him around for while though.
P.S. Please post in lower case

Drove a Lotus Carlton for a while in 1992, didn't belong to me, but a to a very wealthy Aussie who came to England once in a blue moon. Was a BIG car in every sense, but certainly did not have the refinement of the RS, I cant honestly remeber what it felt like speed wise, I know I thought it quicker than any of my quattros at the time. Have the original leather bound sales book with the transparent sheets if it is of any interest, was my fee for looking after the car for over a year.

Si, I'd like to see that, I've got quite a bit of old LC stuff, the book, brochures, even a rear wheel somewhere!!!
Both are awesome cars, personally I'd have an LC, they are just too old now.

I have the same brochure Simon The spine was bolted together if I remember correctly. Still in cardboard box in my car goodies drawer that Clare keeps threatening to chuck out. was offered £100 quid by a brochure dealer 2 years ago but told him to shove it. same dealer also offered £250 for my XJ220 book (I kept that as well!)

yeah, they go on ebay regularly for 70-100 quid. the leather bound book goes for much the same.
Has anyone got the presentation exhaust valve? They did a nice keyring too, as well as a tie and some other memorabilia.
The sales brochures were nice, I've got all of those, and the leather book is awesome (the one by ian adcock) Lotus were clearly power mad making the carlton, had it been up to them they'd have made it 400bhp, it was vauxhall who got cold feet at put a stop to that.
Awesome car..
