A little over 0.5 sec on a quarter mile for the extra 100BHP.....not as much of a difference as you would think

Have a read of the front sheet though. Only works on weight, bhp, and drive type.
No input for gearing, weight distribution, torque, drive train losses, traction control / lsd, wheel size, etc, all of which will affect the real figures.

Consequently all the figures I looked at were optimistic by up to a second for the 0-60.

Imho Its a good time waster but by no means of any real value.

True....the guy who wrote the program that works these out admits as much....however a significant number of people who have run 1/4 mile seem too come very close to the figures being quoted.

Mercedes quote 4.7 0-62.5 so 4.33 0-60 is about right

Just notice that Mercedes quote the weight of the E55 AMG as 1835 and not the 1760 on the website ....which would give

Power at Flywheel (BHP) 476
Weight without Driver (KG) 1835
Drive Type Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)
Power To Weight Ratio (BHP/Ton) 263.56
0-60mph (Secs) 4.45
0-100mph (Secs) 9.29
60-100mph (Secs) 4.83
Quarter Mile (Secs) 12.58 @ 116.37 MPH
Drag Quarter Mile (Secs) 12.48 @ 117.66 MPH

Pretty close to Mercedes 0-62.5 time

But just consider how much further that 0.5 sec will take you, at the final speed of 125mph!
