Hi Folks,

It is my 30th Birthday soon and my brother wants to buy me a driving day at silverstone...Fantastic

Can anyone recommend a company to go through which would include supercars and a reasonable amount of track time?

I see Audi are doing the driving experience there later on in the year, how good is it? Would you do this over driving a ferrari/ porsche though?

Cheers in advance

I have been on several Silverstone days in the past and I always came a way a bit disappointed to be honest - they seem to have a policy for restricting revs on some cars and will prevent the use of lower gears to really make the most of a corner.

I would recomend The Palmer Audi Driving Day at Bedford Autodrome - it's expensive, but you get to drive some seriously quick cars and are pushed by the instructors.

I bought a day for my Dad (and myself) through Tangerine (http://www.tangerineuk.com/). It was the equivalent of the 'Supercar VI Driving Experience', all in all not a bad day. Reasonable selection of cars, but you can't really go for it as the co-driver has a tendency to be worse than the nagivators.

Depends what you want really. Have you though about hiring a car for the day?
