and all that dumb guff about Being first in the world and the info being embargoed until 1800 CEST, its been on tv in Europe for months.
NZ has an unfortunate record when it come to interpreting the time in Germany. In 1939, NZ was the first country to declare war on Germany. Why? Because the Cabinet Secretary got the time conversion wrong and so, in the absence of a reply to their ultimatum, they declared war 15 minutes before any of the other allies. Bit of a joke really!
