This weeks Autocar has a piece about the new RS6 - 500bhp turbo V8 which is meant to be an upgraded version of Audis 4.2 V8 running FSI- it says plans for a detuned V10 Gallardo engine have been abandoned "not enough space to package it"

Also in the advert for next weeks edition it says:

"Audi RS3 - First full details of the (real) worlds most desirable new car."

Nothing on the RS4.

Obviously none of this means anything is true but Autocar seem to be pretty good when it comes to future cars - also if the RS6 is going to have turbos then why wont the RS4?

From what I've heard, Audi are denying all knowledge. The pictures are also the usual Autocar photoshopped fare; i.e.: at best inaccurate, at worst completely fabricated!
