A friend has just taken delivery of his new VW.

Fear the thirst.

Fear the weight.

Fear the tyre bill.

Fear the jealousy from RS6 owners :lol:Image

There are three people that like down my way kicking about in the new Gt, very nice car....... Heh see them every day "supposed car that you would never see on the road"

Naaa RS6 owners shouldn't be jealous, would far rather have a RS6 than a GT but if I tried to get insured for either i'm pretty sure they wouldn't quote me happy. :D :D

Youre right. Amusingly, and for rather obvious reasons, he calls it the same as all his others before it : "The Bonkley"

Yep. Not that I am going to admit it to him, but one of these as the daily driver is just about the pinnacle at the moment IMO. Interestingly she develops the 552hp at just 0.8 bar boost. Need I "suggest" more?

I saw my first in Bishop's Stortford yesterday. Looked total class - even better than in the pictures.

Not sure I like these. Have seen a fair few in several colours (best was a sort of rust-red colour) and just think they don't quite hit the mark.

My money would go on a charcoal-coloured Gallardo (even if you do apparently have to pronounce it Gay-ardo, which sounds totally unappealing) if I was in the position to have to have an uber-VAG product.

Saw one of these for the first time the other day, knocking about around my part of Sheffield.

Looks really nice in that Noggy-like blue.

My son thought it resembled the shape (and size) of the Chrysler Crossfire :dung: from the back. You know, he might just be onto something there ;)
