I don't know of anyone in Bedfordshire, but two guys involved in the uk speed traps site offer testing. One is based in the Reading area, I think the other is based towards the north west.

If it is a LRC100 the only thing that will set it off is a laser gun. I tried every remote control under the sun but nothing set it off. The first time it got a sniff of a laser gun it went ballistic. Im from Belfast and the buggers have obviously got alot for xmas presents as they are out every night in certain locations. To be 100% sure it is jamming tho i would need to stop and ask him what speed i was doing :D dont think i'll do that tho.

Same here - I tried all my remotes and couldn't set the LRC100 off. I suspected it was faulty until the gent in uniform proved otherwise. I'm pretty sure mine is jamming - I was being targeted for more than 5 seconds.
