Who is the cheapest to get parts from. I'm looking at a 968 clubsport which i'm going to turn into a track car. But it needs a rear left and rear and rear window. Damm expensive over here.

Help! Who's good to use and cheap !

Try Porsch-apart. I know Simon quite well and he has always given me A1 service with competetive prices.

Tell him Nigel Lettin recommended you and you want a good deal

Yeah I found him prior via google. I've now sent him an email.

Is there any non UK cheaper suppliers ?

At the end of the day i'm in New Zealand, so everyone is foreign, and pricing is the critical bit at this stage.

PS. Whats a good Porsche Forum to ask such questions ?

I would have thought that the UK was the cheapest place for you to get 968 parts from. I second the Simon recommendation.

You could try www.ebay.de ....not sure how many '68 parts are on there.

PS ....just seen this pm ebay.de

I would suggest you have a look on www.rennlist.com, and go to the forums.
There are a few 968 dedicated forums too, but if you ask on rennlist I am sure you will soon get pointed in the right direction.

Apart from that, I buy my stuff from www.carnewal.com in Belgium.

Cheers,
John. (993)

Thanks Boys.

PS. I have just come back from the Porsche Drive Day. The highlight was some mad German called Thomas who took us drifting! in a Cayenne (in the dry). X50 Turbo was a treat on the track too. I even won best time for the day on the slalom, yay !, and got a model GT for my desk at work.
