Last night when I went to leave work in the snow, I noticed that I had left my lights on all day (yes I do get the audible warning which I must have ignored when parking in the morning, so yes I am a total tw*t ).
Naturally I was expecting to have to jump start or call out the RAC. But the car started first time with no hesitation at all. The car is 2.5 years old and it's the original battery, so well done Audi!
So that was the good - what about the bad?
I had expected to have to get some petrol on the way home. I had done 250 miles and the DIS was showing 10 miles to go. But the petrol gauge was showing about 1/5 full. I got home and switched off. Then I decided to check the gauge again. When I turned on it showed totally empty!
Presumably the cold had affected the sensor.
So I went out to get some petrol anyway.
So what about the ugly? Well I did see both a B6 A4 with bodykit and a new A3 on the way to work today - they're both fairly ugly!
