Loved this video. Does anyone know what max speed they managed to reach in this twin engined beastie? It was 800 bhp (2 x turbo'd VR6 engines, 400bhp each!)and I knew they were planning to exceed 200 mph, in a MK4! On one attempt they managed to blow the rear engine but I never read any more about it. Anyone know the outcome?

Video is quite fun isnt it.
I dont think that twin engined cars are very special from a performance point of view. I mean, 800bhp in a seriously stripped golf, and is only manages 12.3 ? I seen cossies do it as quick with less power ( obviously ). On that video he short shifts, I reckon its cos he cant get the power down...

Beats me why anyone would go to the hassle of stripping a car out and fitting 2 highly tuned engines just to get 12.3.
And if he couldn't get the power down they should have started with a Quattro! [img]images/graemlins/clap.gif[/img]
