Did anyone see this hour long programme all about the Cannonball which is the one Thorney participated in?
Good amusing narrator the documentary featured a Porsche GT2 with a mad driver and a Range Rover 4,4 with NO2.
Only a couple of glimpses of Thorney's Vauaxhall though. AmD car stickers on view so they should be chuffed with the visibility.
Hope the episode is repeated.

It's on again tonight at 10pm on Motors TV.
The GT2 guy WAS certifiable (he won the USA Gumball and still has arrest warrants outstanding in 6 states)

Yes and yet he came across as educated and urbane, which was nice, I thought.
Recommend everyone tunes in - very entertaining indeed.

He used to post occasionally on RS4.org when he was one of the first owners of an SL55 AMG.
Goes by the handle of Lonman.
Has a Gallardo as well, and a Carrera GT on order.

He's a genuinely nice guy. I mean, he has more money than Croesus, all made from internet porn sites so you really 'wanted' to not like him. But the final night party a few of us stayed up all night talking bollocks and he was a good bloke.
Earnt a load of money and spent it doing things that we'd all love to do but bottom line was pretty level headed about it all.
Funniest comment was one of the guys from Sunseeker (the MD's were competing) offering him a ride on one of their 460's (whatever the hell that was, but it sounded big and expensive) and his reply was, "No thanks, I've already got two, one in Bornemouth and one in Monaco". The looks on their faces were priceless. It wasn't said in a manner to cause offence.
All in all you can have money and not be a <beep> (although I'd like either one of these )

It was on again tonight and I saw it this time... I really fancied it but realise you have to be totally minted to cope with the fines
