Anyone on here owned one before? At the moment I have ditched my plans for a RS4 and am planning on keeping the S3, modding it a bit more and getting a UR..

just dont tell the wife...

also would mean my S3 has to come out of the garage which will give me sleepless nights

I had a 10v from 1992 -95
My greatest thrills and worst nightmares rolled into one!
Worst electrics ever - the loom was rotten on all connections (prior to gold plated terminals)

here more specs.:

1983
WR-motor (5 cilinder 10V turbo)
200ps/285 Nm
totaly original
cruisecontrol
airco
warm frontseats
warm/electr. mirrors
restaurated (about 5 years ago)
digital dashboard
alarm clifford (highest class)

325.000km , but 7 months ago a/the urquattro-specialist in the Netherlands had replaced the gaskets of the whole engine, and give the car a big check up. So we had a good sight in the whole engine
And he said me: this engine can't be driven so much km's because there is no spore of wastage. And I had even take a look in the engine and I saw a very clean engine. Maybe the engine is also restaurated, but I can't say it surely because I had no history about this car before februari 2001.
What I can say is that the engine is in a very good-condition (I also don't believe it drive's so much km's) I had drive 50.000km's whit it and I am impressed by the low oil-consumption and the high power. And the engine feels good, sounds good, I am very pleased with this car.
Another nice thing the specialist said: Some people (+/-5)would really buy this car, and every day people ask or this car was for selling. Yes,that sounds good to me. ;)

(I am sorry for my poor English, I am coming from the Netherlands)

No I wasn't there, because I was sick pfeiffer,I don't know the right English word)
And I know I missed so much fun: driving with an RS6.
But next meeting I will come surely.
Did you know that there is a audi-meeting planned on saturday 26 april by AC de Meern (in the near of Utrecht)?

urq83,

unfortunately i won´t be there on 26 april...Ill be somewhere in China around that time

leeuwarden was nice indeed. We took a ride with a rs6, with the new sport exhaust..Thats absolute a must have option...what a sound. It sounded like a group of ducati´s or harley´s..the big hammer

there is a profile of my car on the acgn site. with some mistakes, but you can see the car. it´s from 97. original it got 326 bhp, but it´s now around 360. Further I got a brake upgrade..
But you will see it someday for sure..

hope that your health is better now..

greetings

ps. yesterday I did some driving/racing in a urquattro..
perfectly!!
We had the turbo so hot..it was red and we could almost see the oil inside it..
The white flames came out of the exhaust
