Cherished Registration company

Post by Hopsta » Wed Oct 22, 2003 10:44 pm

Looks like i'm going to be selling my cherished plate and going back to a DVLA issued one. Can anyone recommend a good transfer company ? The people I purchased it off 5 years ago were complete arses and pissed me about something rotten.

Graham

I dont think these reg companies actually buy your registration number off you, more like they advertise your number (while still on your car) and take a cut when it eventually sells. Im not sure if they charge you to advertise it before they sell it?

Graham, I reckon Colin M may be the man for you as he seems to know about advertsing and the trade in general. I'd guess that most people are brokers and probably charge a packet in commission.

Putting it towards a house mate?

See you tonight,

Ben

I'll give the rego companies a call later on today, just testing the water really as i could take a while to sell. Going to be putting on retention in the next couple of weeks.

Yep it will be going towards some bricks and mortar along with other few bits

Not sure I can make tonight, got alot on.. will try my best
