It was two degrees above on my way home from the golf club tonight.
Doesn't your car just feel so much quicker?
I fancied going back out again and chewing up some more petrol

I went there once to meet up with JR in early December and it was frosty, really frosty. Made things exciting for the first hour or so.

It was a good day out though.

in a 'Careful' kind of way, I'm wanting it to be a bit frosty/wet for a bit as I reckon I'll get more practice safer on the track handling these types of conditions rather than on our empty backroads (or should I just book some lessons on a skid pan somewhere?? )

Well now I'm confused
Thought my car was feeling a wee bit quicker. Was wondering if this was due to the engine continuing to open up or the fact that i have recently switched to using Optimax (is the marketing based on any kind of fact?). But I'm not the biggest revhead around so can someone tell me if my NA engine would benefit from the cold as well?

And why?

I took the car down to Thredbo (snow here in Australia) a little while ago, dropped down to -1.5 degrees! The car had no troubles winding out The power difference is nothing short of amazing!!!

I just wish it was that cold all the time

Yeah, give us the COLD weather and dry roads!!! There was a spell of cold last winter here with -10C to -12C. And lucky me was on the way from Zurich to Munich on perfectly dry Autobahn. Such a blast!!! The car is transformed.

Enjoy the winter!
