Audi just halved there dealer base

Oh yes just heard that out of 70 dealers in the UK Audi have decided to reduce them to 35 [img]images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
Whats goin on ?

well it was going to happen.... most of the info regarding dealers on the forums has been rubbish..... maybe Audi UK are finally sorting this mess out. and getting though with their dealerships to offer a better service etc.....London is a very competitive area...... Not very good news for those with cars under Audi warranty then. Always seem to have to wait at least a fortnight to get a car booked in for any work at all with the current number of dealerships.

It's always best not to listen to rumours but to instead get the real info! [img]images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

A few centres have been terminated but not half the network, they will be replaced by another business in the area or by a second site from an existing centre in the region.

This is normal procedure within the business as the network is structured to support the customer demands of a growing business and to increase the levels of customer satisfaction.

I think they are merging groups together rather than closing dealerships. There was two dealers here on N.Tyneside (Colebrook and Addison) but they have just become one known as Tyneside Audi, still two showrooms though.
