I went to Trax @ silverstone yesterday for a day out,
and spotted this nimble little thing !

download here ! you have to !
nothing could touch it, not a couple of ferrari not even the r1 motorbikes !

0-60 in 2.83 seconds this vid footage was borrowed from another site.

what else could be quicker than that that is road legal ?

i will get the tech spec soon !

i was chatting to the guy who built it and they have done 2.49 to 60 but with slicks, but as this was a road car event he couldnt use them !

Whilst waiting for the download I had images of all sorts of exotic machinery going through my head. Now I didn't expect that

How the hell did they get it so quick ? Twin engine 4wd ?

Well I must admit that is fast, but could it do it in this short distance:

A Z-Car Tiger Z100WR.
With the Datron MicroSAT timing equipment a two-pass 0-60mph time of 2.80 seconds was achieved (in only 41 meters!). The two-pass average time from 0 to 100mph was 6.6 seconds. And ther is more to come, they are looking 2.2 secs, and are hoping to make it official later this month at Zolder the auto happening event.

Now thats fast, Z-cars use 2 Kawasaki ZX12, a MoTeC engine management/traction system looks after the running of the engines and their power delivery to all 4 wheels.

Now in a straight line it would be close, but I doubt on a track this Nova could keep up. This Tiger was awesome round Zolder 2 years ago, and had many Elise's, Porsche's etc..and the drivers asking what the hell was going on ???

Well thats my 2 penny's worth, sorry to sound like "I have a bigger conker then you" but the Kit Car Industry has alot of great cars that for a fraction of the price will out run most!!!!

Yep, the tiger might be faster on paper, but you wouldn't think twice about showing mr boy racer Nova driver a lesson at the lights ..... oh, how it could all go horribly wrong for you ....

Stil, you need to spend some wedge to get sub 3 secs out of a Nova !

Thats the problem the boys with mainstream (Fords, Vauxhalls etc..) cars have, they have to spend a serious amount of money to get the power and delivery to the floor, where as kits already have a weight advantage.
I think from the lights my friend you would be surprised

But either way, great vision and engineering from both parties. I will from now on be very wary when I pull up next to a Nova at the lights!!

Ooops, got lost in the translation I guess. What I meant to say was ....

If that Nova pulled alongside you at the lights, you *might* be tempted to show him a lesson. If the Tiger pulled alongside, you might think twice.

There again, I doubt jr would give a sh*t and go for it to see what happens

I probably would too, just to see the engine blow up at 65 mph

would anybody like to bet that there was anti-lag system (a la WRC) and maybe even launch or traction control.
