According to the declarations of an Audi insider, the A3 will be offered as a 5 door combi in the summer of 2004: "it will be more than just adding two doors". The future S3 will have a V6 with turbo, while the RS3 will have a V6 with bi-turbo, with about 350 hp. The 1.8 liters gasoline engine with 5 valves/cylinder will be replaced by a new engine which will be situated between the 1.6 liters and the 2.0 liters FSi. The Quattro system will be standard on the V6 and optional on the 2.0 TDi and on the new gasoline engine. There will be a new A3 allroad, following a bigger SUV, built on the platform of the A4, to compete with the BMW X3.
In september, it is expected the A8 W12 with about 450 hp, and in March 2004 the new A6 (including the new V6 TDi with 200 hp). In august 2004 there will be available the A3 Sportsback, while later the same year there will be launched the new S8 (V10 biturbo with 500 hp). In 2005, are expected the A6 coupe (built on the base of the Nuvolari), the A9/A7 - name is not known sure, though our sources say it will be called A9 - (inspired from Pikes Peak), and the RSR. The prototype of the RSR will be presented at IAA 2003 and the series model will be built on the base of the Lamborghini Gallardo.
